Four guests are invited to join DPW Forestry staff for approximately 2 hours touring one of the nation’s oldest municipal nurseries. Our 160 acres nurture future street trees until they are ready for planting. In addition, the Greenhouse grows thousands of flowers for annual planting around the City. Forestry staff will also do a tree-climbing demo at the nursery. Tours can be available M-F 7AM-3:30PM.  Participants should be prepared for potentially muddy conditions and a ride on a Gator.
